Introducing Nymis
· 2 min read
Blockchains are transparent by design.
That is useful for verification, but it also means years of wallet activity can build a surprisingly detailed public profile.
An address that looks pseudonymous can still expose links to your identity, social accounts, centralized exchanges, related wallets, Safe co-signers, projects you contribute to, and the broader network of addresses you interact with.
Most users do not see that picture in one place.
Nymis was built to make it visible.
Nymis is a privacy scanner for Ethereum addresses. Enter an address and it analyzes publicly available data to show what the chain may already reveal about you.
The report highlights things such as:
- identity exposure
- related wallet connections
- KYC/CEX activity
- Safe relationships
- transaction patterns
- other signals that expand your onchain footprint
It also gives the address a Privacy Score, providing a simple reference point for how exposed it is and which factors contribute most to that exposure.

Address Linkage Audit
Privacy is not only about what one wallet reveals.
Many people use several addresses and assume they remain separate.
Nymis includes an Address Linkage Audit that lets you compare multiple wallets, see whether they appear connected, understand how strong those connections are, and inspect the evidence behind each link.

This can help users understand where their wallet graph is already exposed before creating new connections.
The goal
The goal is not to dox people.
It is the opposite: to show users what is already visible so they can make better privacy decisions.
If you know what the chain already reveals about you, you can be more deliberate about which wallets you use, which addresses you connect, how you fund fresh wallets, and when to use privacy-preserving tools.
Public beta
Nymis is currently in public beta.
The scanner is live and being used on real wallets, but coverage, scoring and heuristics are still being refined.
Feedback is especially useful at this stage — particularly when a result looks incomplete, incorrect, or surprising.
Nymis does not require an account to run a scan, and reports are temporary by default. You can choose to save a report for 90 days and reopen it through a private link, still without an account.
