Introduction
What does Nymis do?
Nymis examines public activity associated with an address. The Privacy Scanner produces findings and a score; Address Linkage compares submitted addresses for public connections.
How does Nymis reach a finding?
It combines transactions and token transfers with public labels, names, and other attribution data. A transaction is an observed fact. A suggested identity or relationship is an inference drawn from facts; the report presents supporting evidence where available.
Which blockchains are covered?
The current scanner and Address Linkage configuration includes Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum, Optimism, Gnosis, Polygon, and HyperEVM. Available data and scan coverage vary by chain and address.
What can a result establish?
It can describe public activity and evidence of exposure or a connection. It cannot prove a person's identity, control of an address, shared ownership of two addresses, or completion of KYC. A missing finding does not prove the underlying activity or connection is absent.
