How does Nymis scan an address?
Enter an EVM address or supported name on the home page; Nymis resolves names to addresses, analyzes available public activity and attribution data, evaluates the evidence, calculates a Privacy Score, and presents the findings, ChainMap, and coverage notes. No account connection or proof of address control is required.
Which networks and data sources are analyzed?
The configured EVM chains are Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum, Optimism, Gnosis, Polygon, and HyperEVM. Nymis uses public transactions, token transfers, contract data, explorer and RPC responses, public labels, naming records, and other public attribution sources. Available data and provider coverage differ by chain.
What identity information can a scan find?
It can find supported address names, public profiles, and sometimes a public name, email, or organization association when the source can be linked to the address. Sources include ENS and other supported naming services, plus public services such as Farcaster, X, and GitHub. An association remains evidence, not proof of who controls the address.
How are exchange interactions and related addresses found?
Nymis matches observed transfers against labeled exchange and payment-service addresses, then considers direction, repetition, and duration. An exchange interaction does not prove account ownership or KYC completion.
Related addresses come from qualifying transfer relationships and corroborating public context. A shared counterparty or service alone does not prove that two addresses have the same owner.
Which transaction and behavior patterns are examined?
The report can describe timing and frequency, funding sources, token and protocol activity, bridges, Safe relationships, and other public activity. In the current score model, only qualifying regular transaction timing contributes to the behavioral-fingerprint category. Other patterns may appear as informational context or support a different scored category.
How is the Privacy Score calculated?
The score reflects the combined impact of qualifying identity, financial, address-linkage, and behavioral evidence. It starts at 100 and remains within 0–100. Each rule requires specified evidence; its strength and corroboration affect how much it contributes. Displayed findings are not all score inputs, and the scorer does not simply add every card's raw value.
Overlapping evidence is deduplicated or discounted to avoid penalizing the same exposure multiple times. Stronger, independently corroborated findings can have a greater impact, while diminishing returns and category limits prevent any single type of exposure from disproportionately affecting the result. Coverage is assessed separately: a score does not mean every historical transaction or every chain was examined, and incomplete scans can still contain observed positive findings.
What does the ChainMap show?
The ChainMap represents the analyzed address and detected related addresses as nodes. Connections indicate relationship evidence found in the report, such as observed transfers or supported Safe and shared-counterparty context where available. The map and its expanded view help explore those reported connections; a connection is evidence of an association, not proof of common ownership.
What can I see in the expanded findings?
The Privacy findings section groups report findings and shows their explanations and supporting evidence. Depending on the finding, details can include public names or profiles, exchange or relationship context, observed activity, and links to relevant public sources such as a block explorer. Evidence and source detail vary by finding and available data; they describe observations or inferences and do not establish identity or ownership by themselves.
What does a high or low score mean?
A high score means Nymis found fewer qualifying scored exposures; a low score means it found more. Neither score proves that an address is anonymous, identified, safe, or unsafe. Read the evidence and coverage notes alongside the score, and decide for yourself whether any action is needed.
